Just back from his appearance at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in
Montreal, where he was hand selected to perform for Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out
Loud Network, Erik Rivera keeps making his mark on the stand up comedy
scene. Erik is no stranger to TV or comedy milestones - since his Late Night
debut on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, a recognition that has been a
springboard to many comedy greats, Rivera has become a familiar face on
television. He was then chosen as one of the Top 100 comedians to be invited to
perform in the re-launch of NBC’s Last Comic Standing. In 2015 Erik got to
cross off another comedy milestone when he recorded his debut 1 Hour Comedy
Special, Im No Expert which aired on Fuse NuVO TV. Last year Rivera
was cast to star alongside Brandon T Jackson (Tropic Thunder) and DeRay
Davis (Netflix How To Act Black) in Oxygen’s docu-series Living With Funny
- a look at life off stage for the touring comedians. Recently he co-starred in
CBS’s most talked about episode of Superior Donuts, where they tackled the
current state of immigration in the United States! 2019 is starting off with a bang
as Erik will be featured in HBO/HBO Latino’s “Entre Nos” stand up comedy
show, highlighting the nation’s funniest Latino comedians.
